The program will evolve iteratively to meet participant needs, ensuring relevant and practical support.
Participants of the Business Development Program will have access to workshops, mentorship, and tailored business development resources, culminating in an industry competition where BCSGA members in good standing can submit applications for direct investment in their businesses or innovative ideas.
The goal of this program is to build resilience within both developing and established operations, equipping participants with strategic roadmaps and core business competencies. Through this initiative, BCSGA seeks to foster the next generation of industry leaders, support sustainable farming operations, and create key business guidance documents that will benefit both current and future shellfish farmers.
Applications for investment will open following the program’s development phase. Participants are encouraged to engage in BCSGA workshops and available resources to maximize their readiness and competitiveness in the investment competition.
