We are finalizing details for the BCSGA’s signature event, which takes on a new look and feel this
year. Nourished in Nature – a Shellfish Feast will take place Friday, June 16, 2017, at Filberg Park in
Comox.
Celebrated BC Chefs come together to create a meal that will celebrate our BC shellfish and
seafood in an upscale outdoor setting that is second to none. This feast will showcase shellfish grown
in BC by our members, including clams, geoduck, mussels, oysters and scallops. You will enjoy savoury
dishes that also feature a few of our fin friends (salmon and halibut) as well as members of the
crustacean family …
Chefs include Quang Dang, Alex Chen, Ronald St. Pierre, Chris Andraza, Aaron Rail and more.
Think clam bake, shellfish and seafood BBQ, Paella, Baked Oysters, Steamed Clams and Mussels,
Seared Scallops, Oyster Poutine and Shellfish Boils… This special evening will include delicious BC
wines and beer and, perhaps, handmade lemonades and iced teas.
Nourished in Nature. Filberg Park in Comox. Friday, June 16, 2017, from 5:30 – 10:30 pm will be the
meal to remember and the place to be.
