September, 2008. New funding has been announced for sustainable energy projects for rural BC. BCSGA received a request from OREG if any aquaculture companies would be interested in demonstrating a small tidal or wave energy project. Other forms of alternate energy could also be supported (solar, wind, bio etc). This funding specifically applies to rural or off-grid locations.
