The British Columbia Shellfish Growers’ Association (BCSGA) has been the voice of BC’s shellfish farming industry for almost 60 years.
1948 – The BC Oyster Growers’ Association is formed.
1990 – The BC Oyster Growers’ Association changes its name to the BC Shellfish Growers’ Association.
The Association is a non-profit organization that represents approximately 70% of shellfish farmers in British Columbia as well as processors, industry suppliers and service providers related to the industry.
We are funded solely through membership fees and project revenue.
